PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING

The City of Lufkin’s Planning & Zoning Commission has illegally approved a site plan for a new On The Road 24-hour, 7-days-a-week mini-truckstop, located directly across from The Settlement’s only entrance. This is located on 29 acres and will back up to the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. It is only 4,250 ft from the proposed RaceTrac truck stop and only 2,960 ft from the existing On The Road truck stop.
One look at the existing On The Road truckstop, and you can tell what kind of operator they are, with trash and garbage strewn across the property.
